Weekly Blog 5/2

Dear Wines Families,
As we enter the final stages of the school year, our weekly email will contain more and more information and there will likely be a number of additional communications. This is an important and busy time of year so I hope you find some time to read through all of our information!

Teacher Appreciation Week: Next Week!
Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! A list of events for next week was sent in today's email.

No School May 8: PLEASE VOTE
There is no school next Tuesday for Election Day. The Ann Arbor Public Schools Operating Millage is on the ballot on May 8th. The proposal is to restore, replace, and extend the authority of AAPS to levy mills for operating purposes. For AAPS homeowners, the millage will not increase tax rates over the current authorization. Please click on the link below for a video message regarding the proposal. The second link is to a FAQ regarding the millage vote.

Parent Input for Class Placement
Below is the link one last time for parent input for class placement. We will begin our work on class placement next Wednesday so May 9th is the last date we will be able to accept input. Please note, I am the only person who has access to your input.

Country Fair
Our annual Country Fair and Raffle takes place on June 1. There is information in the Wines Times about the Fair.
