Dear Wines Families,
I know that days away from school often present a hardship for families so I want to offer my sincere appreciation for the time yesterday. Our staff was engaged in critical professional development and planning for the remainder of this year and next. In addition, the Young 5’s and Kindergarten team and I were able to spend the day with many of the new Young 5’s and Kindergarten students and families joining our community next year. It was an important day for our staff and our school community and the time was spent in productive ways that simply could not be accomplished be when students are in session. Thank you!
On to the news for the week. We are looking forward to Art Night tomorrow, PE Activity Day on June 2nd, and the Wines ROAR May 29th. As always, we need your help in order to put on these end of the year community traditions! Important information and volunteering opportunities can be found below as well as lots of other important Wines information.

Parent Input for Class Placement
With the school year quickly coming to a close, we are actively preparing for next year and placing students in classrooms. As part of this process, we do elicit parent input. Below is a link to a form where you can provide information to help us make final placement decisions. Please note that we do not accept request to be (or not to be) in a specific teacher’s classroom. Thank you for respecting this. The form will stay open until Friday.
